our weekend

Graydon, Foster and Hartley at the summit.

Foster, Graydon and Hartley at base-camp.

Herbs.

Foster watering the herbs. NOT erbs! H-H-Herbs.

The Very Hungry Caterpillar.

Where are we?

I made this salad?

Silly Uncle Rick giving the boys financial advice
in his make-believe office at Ikea.

Sherms chilling.

Connor showed us some magic tricks.
One of them still has me baffled.

Took the boys for a bike-ride.

glorious food

I took the boys out for pizza on the Danforth.
We should have eaten greek.

Friday I went to St. Lawrence Market for
breakfast-on-a-bun with Natalie and Lois.

We also had an issue-wrap lunch at Terroni.
We found a spot in the sun.
If we had continued to eat and celebrate in the blazing
heat, my coworkers would have had the unfortunate
task of picking me up off the ground.
Thank goodness we finally found...

Shade.

Tonight I had brown tomatoes and bocconcini cheese with basil.
This sub-par photo does not do justice to the true taste sensation
that I experienced earlier tonight.

Watermelon

A watermelon is 99% water.

Up

Mommy went on a girls cottage-weekend,
so I decided to take the boys to see Up.
We went with Andy, Connor and Dylan.
This weekend we also went bowling, walked to the park
and filled up the pool in the backyard to cool down.

My Father's Day

Foster showing Sherman (our firstborn) my Father's Day card.

Father's Day concert at Foster's Daycare.

Happy Graduation

Graydon accepting his graduation certificate from his teacher.

What Soccer Game?

Foster clearly not watching Graydon's 4th soccer game of the season.

Foster self-portrait. Woodbine Park.
The bandage on his head is covering the results
of a wrestling "accident" with his brother.
His head had a small dent and when he found out,
he was very upset that he would have to go to the "dent"ist.

Not My Idea

Madison's Birthday

The Incredible Hulk and Batman painting picture frames?!

Foster and Bianca.

Ariel the mermaid showed up and tattooed Foster.

I give Graydon about 7 more years before
he really appreciates this photo...

...and Foster about 10.

Popsicles

Six kids, six adults, pizza, popsicles,
a game of monster and green goop getting stuck in hair.
