pedestrian sundays

We had a lot of fun walking around Kensington Market with Sarah and Mike.
It was Pedestrian Sunday and the streets were filled with craziness.
And crazies. Including these children.

wink wink.

Delicious lunch at Jumbo Empanadas.

Bongos!

This was called "Improv Song". The puppets would sing an improvisational
song based on a word thrown out by the audience.
When no word was provided, me and my shirt became the target.
The song was called "Candy Shirt Man".

happy birthday bianca

Foster was kindly invited to his good old-daycare friend Bianca's 5th.

happy happy

Hadley has two nicknames to describe her moods.
"Sadly" for when she is upset, and "Gladly" for times like these.

jazz? festival

Kristin and I enjoyed a nice sushi dinner with Hadley on Friday night
while the boys were at their grandparents'.
After dinner, we walked along Queen Street to see some of the jazz festival.
Ironically, the festival features little to no jazz at all.
I will be proposing a name change to the "Beaches Bar-Band Festival".
It was nice to see Kim, Jamie and the kids on Thursday night!

Marcel and Karen came over on Sunday night. Marcel wrestled with the boys,
while Karen opted for some cuddles with Hadley.

little india bazaar

We met up with Jacquie on Saturday night
and visited the Little India Bazaar.

brickworks, sarah, mike, uncle rick, the kids

iPhone technology was way more exciting
than anything the vendors were selling.

Wednesday, July 14, 2010

It was great catching up with my old Canadian Living
work-mates on Tuesday night at the Bedford Academy.

Nanou and Bunka came to visit.

Then we went to visit Sarah and Mike's new home and garden.

Sherms!
Hadley is beginning to enjoy her bath.
I'm really excited about my new DSLR.
Thanks Vic!

the cobbler

David Glantz put this awesome, giant cobbler's hammer
on my coworker Michael's forearm in one marathon session. Ouch.
A tribute to his father and grandfather.
