vic & barbs

We went to Vic and Barb's to see photos from their trip to Portugal.
The boys were more interested in the Nintendo DS.

Craziness was also well underway.

bianca's party

Foster went to his best friend's birthday party.
It was great to see some buddies from his old daycare.

Mid dance at the dance party.

Posing with "Chloe".

brickworks

We enjoyed our morning exploring the farmers market and nature walk.

Breakfast burrito.

Two silly boys.

Kristin explaining the life cycle of a frog.

Sherman exploring the off-leash area.

last minute rush

It's always exciting when you find out last-minute that your
favourite band is in town. However, it's heart-breaking
when you find out the show is sold out.
But then your friend calls you and says "It's not sold out yet!"
That makes things exciting again!
Unfortunately, I could only get this close...

fence 2.0

I took the day off to work on the fence.
I was so excited to finally pull out the mitre-saw
I bought myself at Christmas.

I pulled out the roots and evened out the
vertical posts with 2x4s and shims.

Worked on some drainage.

This is my inspiration. We'll see how it turns out.

turducken-fest 09

Theresa and Rob invited us to their home for delicious "turducken"
which is turkey, stuffed with duck, stuffed with chicken.
Speaking of stuffed, I won't be eating for the rest of the week.

For desert, Theresa baked "coocanie" which was
cookie, stuffed with cake, stuffed with brownie.

The children seemed more eager for this than for turducken.
Thanks so much guys!!!

ontario place

back seat driver

The other day, Foster informed us that
this sign meant "no arrows allowed!"

live show

The kids invited us to watch a show entitled
"kids wipe-outs" which involved... kids wiping-out.
Props included a couch, cushions, ottomans and a
very dramatic running commentary.
The show was for peoples "eighteen and twenty plus".
Luckily, Kristin and I are both over 18 and 20 years of age.
Thank goodness there were no restrictions
because this was a must-see.
